Einar Engh new partner in Littler Norway

Einar Engh joined Littler Norway as a partner on 1 October 2024.

Einar has extensive experience in employment and labour law advice and has worked for approximately 25 years with labour law issues. He is ranked as one of the country's leading labour lawyers in international and national rankings.

Einar joins us from Advokatfirmaet Hjort, where he has worked as a lawyer and partner for 11 years. He also has several years of experience from other law firms. Einar has in addition worked as a lawyer in LO's legal department and in Fagforbundet.

Einar has extensive litigation experience from all courts, and has been admitted to the Supreme Court since 2008. He works mainly with employment and labour law advice within individual and collective labour law, and covers the entire range within employment and labour law.

Einar has assisted major Norwegian and international companies with investigations, downsizing, business transfers, reorganisations and negotiations with trade unions. He has worked extensively with negotiations on the termination of employments  and with employment and labour law requirements for the working environment.

He has special expertise in the rules on transfer of undertakings and the limits of the employer's right to manage when amending employment contracts, and has litigated these issues before the Supreme Court.

Einar is also a sought-after speaker who has extensive experience in lectures and courses. He is the author of the book ‘Nedbemanning grunnet virksomhetens forhold’. He is also co-author of the book ‘Konkurransebegrensninger i arbeidsforhold’ and co-author of Gyldendals kommentarutgave til arbeidsmiljøloven.
