ARP – what is it?
The activity duty and duty to issue a statement gives all public and many private employers the obligation to report on the company's gender equality work in the annual report. We give you the tools you need to do this in a good and efficient way by the deadline of 1 July.
Many companies struggle with the so-called activity duty and duty to issue a statement - ARP. ARP follows from the Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act and means that all public employers and private employers with more than 50 employees have a duty to report on gender equality and diversity in the annual report.
ARP does not have to be so complicated, provided that you have knowledge of what the law actually requires and incorporate the documentation obligations into the company's routines. We can help you - whether you just need a quality check to ensure that the business is compliant or want someone to take you through the reporting obligations from start to finish.
At Homble Olsby, we have committed professionals with solid knowledge of the field of equality and anti-discrimination. Our partner Merete Furesund is a member of the Norwegian Association of Lawyers’ Inclusion and Diversity Committee, which works actively to promote inclusion and diversity in working life.
