Marit Aasbø primarily works with employment law and assists clients from the public and private sector. She assists both employers and employees, including in matters of employment, drafting employment contracts, the employer's right to manage, termination, and redundancy.
Aasbø also assists in general business law. As a result of her background from the Directorate of Immigration (UDI), she regularly assists international clients with applications for residence permits for their employees in Norway.
Aasbø specializes in international law and human rights. She has had several working stays abroad, including in the West Bank, at the Rwanda Tribunal in The Hague and with quota refugees for the UDI in Uganda, Lebanon, and Jordan. This background has given her profound cultural understanding that benefits our international clients.
With her experience as a deputy judge, Aasbø has further competence in litigation, and she therefore also performs such assignments.
Aasbø is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association.
