Veslemøy Lode specializes in collective and individual employment law, and EU law. Lode wrote a master's thesis on the EU’s directive on transparent and predictable working conditions and the significance it has for Norwegian law. Here, she has looked in particular at the employee status of digital platform workers, on-call temporary workers and freelancers.

Lode has a broad background from working life with 15 years' experience as a political journalist from several of the country's largest political departments in newspapers such as Dagbladet and VG. This means that she has a wide network of contacts in both politics and organizational life and can therefore also assist clients with media and communication advice.

Lode is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association and the Norwegian Society for Employment Law (NARF).
